Prior to his position in TransBiodiesel Dr. Tafesh served as CTO in Karmat and Head of R&D in Varcode. He was Head of Anti-fungal Formulation at Troy Corporation in New Jersey, Associate Director for New Product Development and Head of Innovation at Lonza Group, New Jersey. Prior to his stay in the US he served as Marketing Manager and Head of New Product Development at Fine Chem, Israel Chemicals and prior to this position he was Group Leader at Hoechst Celanese (Germany and US) in the area of fine chemicals and catalysis. Dr. Tafesh holds a B.Sc. and M.Sc. in organic chemistry from Oregon State University in Portland and Ph.D. in organic chemistry from the University of Utah. Dr. Tafesh is an inventor and author of more than 25 US patents. |
