TransBiodiesel's main line of products consists of enzyme-based catalysts (biocatalysts) used in the production of biodiesel. These biocatalysts are used batch-wise or continuously and they constitute 3% to 5% (in weight) of the raw materials needed for the process.
Closely related to the company's proprietary enzyme-based catalysts is the licence to apply TransBiodiesel's technology, related equipment modification requirements and the application know-how. A TransBiodiesel sales transaction consists of a single event of technology transfer and multiple events sale and supply of immobilized biocatalysts.
